Beyond the Golden Triangle:

this is an extension of the famous Golden Triangle route of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Starting in Delhi, head to Agra and the famous Taj Mahal and then explore the colourful province of Rajasthan. Visit the Pink City (Jaipur), the Blue City (Jodphur), the holy city of Pushkar, the Lake Palace in Udaiphur and the Golden City of Jaisalmer.

New Delhi To Kolkata:

is the route for those who want to go on safari at the Chitwan National Park, visit Lumbini (the birth place of Buddha) and see the mammals at the Bardiya National Park. On this drive, rest in the Karnali Tented Camp or in either of the parks themselves.

Costal Drive:

this route goes through some of the most popular beach areas and along some of the country’s most scenic routes. Start in Mumbai and stop in Pune to explore its fantastic museums and palaces, drive through Goa and get some sun on one of its famous beaches, go surfing off the coast of Mangalore and end in the cosmopolitan city of Kochi.

National roads and motorways: 100-120 kph

0.03 per cent in all states except Kerala, where there is a zero-tolerance policy.

Safety:

driving is on the left, with smaller routes lacking signposts. A good map is needed, although locals are very helpful to lost tourists. Be extremely cautious in the cities.
