For those wanting to camp on the water’s edge the Derby Reach Regional Park should be your destination. The park is on the south bank of the Fraser River with its rustic campground, but no hook ups. This is the original site of Fort Langley which has moved 12 kilometers or 7.5 miles south. There are restrooms in the park. The camping site is both children and pet friendly. There are a total of 38 slots in the park and TELUS is available for those who want cable TV and internet connection. This park is found by taking 200 Street exit north off of Route 1 then a right on 96 Avenue before a left on 208 Street then to Allard Crescent
The last one in this direct area is at Fort Langley called Fort Camping and is located on McMillan Island surrounded by the Fraser River with 250 slots available. This is a full service RV campground with water, electrical and sewer services along with Wi-Fi, cable TV, laundry access available. This is the site you need to go to if you want to swim in a pool. There are also recreational rooms, restrooms, showers along with picnic shelters. This campground is both children and pet friendly and there is a store on site for those that need supplies. This RV site is on Glover Road off the Trans Canada Highway or Route 1.
