Tips To Drive a Rental RV in Edmonton

Road network:

Edmonton is known as the gateway to the North and therefore is served by plenty of good highways having numerous petrol stations.

Speed limits:

Urban roads: 40-50 km/h
Provincial roads: 70-90 km/h
National roads and motorways: 80-110 km/h

Alcohol limits:

0.08 per cent, with the police regularly policing roads and handing out heavy fines to law-breakers.

Safety:

Canadians drive on the right and pass on the left. Alberta's natives are notorious for speeding and changing lanes without signalling, so drive with caution. Be aware of wildlife on all routes.

RV’s can be picked up in the city centre as well as at the airport, with the city centre having a wider selection. Vehicles are supplied by well known agents that include CanaDream and Real Value and can sleep from two to six people.

Rent a Campervan
Average rating:

 by Benjamin Devadoss

After a lot of research we booked through Andy at RVRentacampervan with excellent results. Being our first experience of a motorhome the supplier Fraserway were very understanding, returning emails promptly, arranging pickups and catering for a minor change of plans.

We had no complaints with the motorhome that Frazerway provided and the service was more than adequate. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had one small accident with the plumbing but that was put down to wear and tear so no extra charges levied,

Thanks for a fantastic stress free holiday.
