A lush green environment that is 63km squared (24.49 sq)! Luckily for those doing a trip around France with their vehicle, this area is easy drivable so one can enjoy it’s beauty. Fontainbleau:

Giverny:
a pleasant trip through the countryside to Claude Monet’s former house and gardens is worthy putting a day aside for. From Paris begin by taking the A13 to Bonnières then the D201 to Vernon, after crossing the river look out for signs to guide you the remainder of the way. You will fall in love surely with the real beauty that one may believe is only in the paintings of Claude Monet, but the reality is that even the paintings don’t do justice to this small village 80km west of Paris. Not much into painting? There are dozens of nature trails for hiking in the hills above Giverny, some of the hills giving incredible panoramic views of the neighboring towns and jaw dropping valleys, but bring insect repellent if hiking in the summer!
