Amber Leisure is now under the Just Go Motorhomes Brand in The UK. Just Go have their main depot in London, but also provide Edinburgh campervan hire from their Scottish depot.
The Amber Leisure is a small but reputable campervan rental company that has been servicing the needs of the public since 1978. They only have one office in Luton, Bedfordshire, where you can pick up and drop off the rental units. They will also provide delivery and collection options to and from the airport.
The fleet only has campervans, caravans and motorhomes that are 2 years old or newer and is the reason they rate themselves as a first class rental outfit. Discounts on rental units are provided for extended holiday. Ordering a rental can be done in person, over the phone or via email.

Amber Leisure Motorhome Fleet with Unlimited mileage
The fleet only has campervans, caravans and motorhomes that are 2 years old or newer and is the reason they rate themselves as a first class rental outfit. Discounts on rental units are provided for extended holiday. Ordering a rental can be done in person, over the phone or via email.
There are 7 different types of rentals available that vary in size. The chassis of the vehicles are Ford and Fiat, and they all have an automatic 6 speed transmission.
All the rental units have a kitchen with stove and refrigerator, a bathroom with a shower, Bluetooth, TV/DVD, CD player and status digital TV aerial. The power when stationary is from a 100 watt solar panel. To help make manoeuvring easier, each unit also has an in colour reversing camera.
The smallest one berths 2 people with a double bed that lowers over the leisure area with a press of a button.
There are 4 models that have 4 berths. 3 of which have 2 double beds and one with a single double bed and 2 twin beds.
There are 2 that can berth 6 people. One of them has 2 double beds and a set of bunk beds with 2 twin size beds. The other has 3 double beds.

The Just Go Greater London depot is based around 35 minutes from London, just off junction 12 of the M1.
Amber Leisure UK - What is Included
Each rental has unlimited mileage, so you can explore as much as you want. Each rental covers one driver with comprehensive UK insurance. Roadside assistance is provided just in case of an accident or breakdown.
Provided with each rental unit is a kitchen starter pack that includes dish soap, tea towel, rubbish bags, sponge, matches, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, wine glasses, pots, pans and cooking implements.
When in a camp ground, there is equipment provided like fresh water hose and electrical hookups in both UK and EU styles. There are also light bulb and fuse packs provided just in case.
Safety equipment includes warning triangles, fire extinguisher, reflective jackets and a first aid kit.
One parking spot at the depot per rental is provided free of charge.
There are also camping and campervanning privilege packs, which will get you into selected sites for free or at a discount.
Summary
This small but well equipment campervan rental agency has good equipment and a good reputation. Because of that, they are not the cheapest campervan rental agency. The biggest downside is they only have one depot.
