How much does it cost to rent an RV at El Monte?

It depends on a number of factors, but size is the biggest factor. RV’s are divided into Classes. These are Classes A, B, and C. Depending on season and with the exclusion of any special offers, expect to pay $175 per night for Class A, $139 per night for Class B and $169 per night for Class C. These prices will drop if you are renting for an extended period of time or if you book in off season or low season. Low season is normally the European summer months and school holidays

Types of RV available from El Monte RV

There are four different sizes of Class C with cab over beds. The two smaller ones sleep 5 each on three beds. There is one that sleeps 6 on four beds and the largest one sleeps 8 in five beds.

There are two sizes of Class A. These are similar to buses in length. One sleeps 5 in three beds, while the other sleeps 6 in four beds.

The two types of 5th wheelers, one sleeps 5 on three beds and the other sleeps 6 on four beds. Renters must provide the tow vehicle.

All RVs are equipped with automatic transmissions, AC, heaters, Cruise control, sinks, toilets, showers, stove tops, microwaves, refrigerators, TVs and DVD players.

What Documents are required by El Monte RV Rentals

The following documentation must be presented to the El Monte RV Rentals representative to pickup up your rental vehicle.

• Identity card (ID) or passport of the hirer and all additional drivers
• Driving licence of the hirer and all additional drivers
• Credit card (MasterCard or Visa) of the hirer with enough limit for the security deposit (the hirer needs to be the holder/owner of the credit card)

What is the minium age to rent a campervan with El Monte RVs?

Minimum age for driver: 21 years. El Monte doesn’t have an upper age limit but drivers over 70 years old may be required to provide a doctor’s certificate to confirm ability to drive.

What is the upper age to rent a campervan with El Monte RVs?

El Monte doesn’t have an upper age limit, but we advise bringing a medical certificate if you are over 70 or have reason to think you may be questioned on your ability to drive. The certificate should confirm ability to drive.

Will my RV have Air Con?

Yes, all El Monte RVs are equipped with air conditioners.

Can I drive into Mexico or Canada

Yes, but a current passport or “Real ID” are required, and if you’re travelling to Mexico, you must purchase El Monte’s Mexico Auto Liability Insurance (MALI). Please be advised that in the unlikely event of a breakdown in Mexico, that Roadside support is not available while in Mexico.

Can we bring our pet?

Yes, pets are allowed in our motorhomes. There is no charge to bring your pet, however, a cleaning fee may be applied at return if the motorhome is brought back in unclean condition because of the pet.

Can you book one-way rentals with El Monte RV in the USA?

The costs with El Monte RV will depend on the actual starting and ending point of the One way RV rental, but expect to fall in a range from $250-$700. When you generate a quote, any one way fee will be highlighted so that you can easily compare the charge against other suppliers at the required locations.

Does the cost of campervan hire come include unlimited mileage

The basic rental rate doesn’t include mileage. Mileage is charged at $0.39 per mile, and you will need to pay for estimated mileage at the counter when you collect your vehicle.  We are able to offer the option to prepay for miles at a discounted rate. Examples
